Floods in West End, Queensland

Here are some photos we took as we drove to West End today from Alderley to check on the house and pack some last possessions. We made it home to West End and managed to pack up some belongings and raise most of the household items before the flooding in the surrounding streets got too bad. We also made it back to Alderley just in time as the high tide was approaching and parts of West End/South Brisbane, Riverside Expressway and the Grey Street Bridge were closed.

The photos were taken at about 11:30am/12 noon.
